Ever like to just slip away?? Winter is over; I surely wasn’t talking about slipping on ice. What I’m talking about is slipping away into a movie, be someone else for awhile. Oh, the places I have seen; the people I have been; the romances I’ve had; the lovers have lost…. All from the comfort of my living room couch.
Sunday I had a themed movie marathon party with a few of my cousin’s. We watched the Twilight saga.
…sigh… (I’m still a teeny-bopper at heart, and a hopeful romantic to the core)
We went all out on this- Popcorn in cute little red buckets…. red movie candy… red color drinks. We even we the extra step by wearing little kid Twilight T-shirts and our Edward Cullen sunglasses!!
What an awesome day! (Thank you Katie & Abby for catching me up to speed!!)

    Vampires like Twizzlers?!

Let’s back up on the Twilight saga- I must confess I’ve only been a Twilight fan since… eh, last summer?! I didn’t care to read the books or jump on the band wagon when the first one came out.
(I was still watching the heck out of my Dark Knight.  Sadly, I recently discovered Batman will always be in love with the Joker, so I gave that love obsession up quicker than the banana split and stopped visiting Gotham city. Ugh!? That’s a story we don’t need to get into.)
I avoid watching tv and I don’t keep up on the latest drama happening in People Magazine, so i rely on my sister to dish all the important dirt. During Samantha’s maternity leave with Cooper I had actually found out a Jonas brother wasn’t a juice, I had learned that a Rob Pattinson wasn’t actually a name for a hamburger. (It took a few weeks to learn to pronounce his name correctly.)
As soon as i started watching the first Twilight, I was hooked like a fish.
Enough about the teeny bopper Happy Meal because it’s actually making me hungry, I’m a huge Frankenstein fan, and now all I can think of it Franenberries! Mmmm!

    Nom!

Last November my sister scored 2 tickets for me to go see the sneak preview of New Moon.
I was so excited. Watching the first twilight when she rented it and finally getting to see the next chapter!! This was cooler than… well i was just pretty damn cool!
She had to work, so the only other person I could think of asking was my brother (only because I was hoping he’d take me for sushi at Republic after).
Sitting in the theater with Tyler and the movie started… I had forgotten there would be no captions on the screen… I sat there the whole movie lost, tapping my brother in a panic “OMG!! What’s going on?!”
I love my Tyler dearly, but he is a terrible interpreter!
I have waited since November to find out the Hamburger said “Marry me, Bella.”
My heart still sinks because now I have to wait months until the next Twilight will be out on dvd. Ugh!?
(Again, thank you Katie & Abby for Sunday! xoxo)
    Back to Reality-
I’m living a medical saga. Sadly no vampire vs. werewolf love triangle… just tumors. Lot’s and lot’s of tumors growing throughout my body. It sometimes feels like one of those cheesy daytime soap opera’s where the doctor falls in love with his dying patient… there is no doctor though; I’m not going to chase his coat tails.
Monday I made the news again for my medical saga. The next chapter!!
Here is the link for all of my friend’s overseas (Hi Australia!! Xoxo)
The really cool thing is the video in closed captions too. (Thank you WZZM for doing that!)

    Anniversary-
Can you believe it?! I’ve been deaf for 2 years. What a milestone!
To honor my little deaf ears birthday my mummie and I went to the beach last night.
(Side note- It’s only April, I live in Michigan, the lake hasn’t warmed up yet.)
I got my feet wet… and my jeans too. I’m sure the people parked sitting in there cars thought I had a few screws loose, but it felt exhilarating… cleansing… inspiring!
2 years after i gave up my hearing and I’m still living by this-
Everyday is a struggle, but with perseverance, milestones will be made. Let’s hope for the best and prepare for the worst. No matter what, everyday is the start of something beautiful.

Enjoy the videos and pictures below!!!!
    Peace, Love, Rock on!
